TASU 2017/2018 JAMB CUT-OFF MARK AND QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

This is to inform the general public and those intending to study at the Taraba State University. As a well known Procedure for all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria, all Prospective Students or Candidates seeking Admission into any University must do so through JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) and meet the Cut Off mark set by the Board before proceeding to the School for an Internal Screening Exercise.

This is to inform the general public and those intending to study at the Taraba State University. As a well known Procedure for all Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria, all Prospective Students or Candidates seeking Admission into any University must do so through JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) and meet the Cut Off mark set by the Board before proceeding to the School for an Internal Screening Exercise.

So if you are seeking Admission into Taraba State University, you must apply for JAMB UTME with at least five (5) O’Level Credit passes including Mathematics and English Language. In the area of “Choice of Institution” chose Taraba State University as First choice, all other requirements will made known in the Centre and other Details are available in the eBrochure which would be given to each Candidate at the accredited CBT centres and JAMB State-Offices.

Thereafter, all Candidates who put (TASU) as their preferred choice of Institution and meet  the Cut Off Mark would then proceed for Internal Screening Exercise by the University, and are thereby advised to go with all the documents mentioned below to the School for the Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Note that to study the Course of your choice among all you must strive to meet the Cut Off Mark.

TASU 2017/2018 JAMB CUT-OFF MARK AND QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION

Documents Required for Internal Screening Exercise in TASU are as follows:

1. Firstly, candidates must beat the cut off mark of TASU as fixed by JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board)
2. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 credits in Mathematics and English and other relevant subjects as it relates to his or her course of study.
3. Original copy of JAMB result slip
4. He/she must have the original documents which includes ‘O’ level certificates please note that awaiting results are not accepted by Taraba State University, Jalingo
5. Original copy of your birth certificate
6. Your secondary school Testimonial
7. 22 recent passport photographs (to be on the safe side)

N/B: Candidate must Beat the Taraba State University Cut Off Mark for JAMB and that of the Internal Screening Exercise before Provisional Admission can be granted to study the course of his/her choice in the School. Also note that TASU accept JUPEB, IJMB and NABTEB Results for Direct Entry Admission into her 200 Level.

Approved TASU JAMB cut off mark Currently is 180, therefore, candidates who score up to 180 are automatically eligible for TASU Internal Screening Exercise, the higher your JAMB score, the higher your chances of clinching the course registered in your UTME.
