One out of the 22 Students expelled from the Nasarawa State Cllege of Education, has taken the management of the College to court in a bid to challenge the decision made by the academic board.
Mr Audu Mangut, the college Registrar, said the Academic Board of the College of Education, Akwanga approved the expulsion of 22 students of the institution for examination malpractices.
He confirmed that the students were expelled, yesterday, after the news of the student dragging the College to Court.
He said that the expelled students were caught cheating by invigilators during examinations. He added that they were put on trial to defend themselves, before the examination malpractice committee set up by the college.
He noted that all those expelled were found guilty by the committee, hence the punishments that were meted to them.
The registrar warned students to desist from vices that could mar their academic pursuits, noting that any student caught cheating in examinations would be sanctioned.
