  1. (a)  Describe FOUR shapes a secondary school science laboratory could take. Illustrate with sketch diagrams.

(b)     Explain THREE factors to be considered for sitting a science

laboratory.

(c)      Differentiate between fixed and flexible design of science laboratory.

  1. (a)      Preparation room is a subset of a science laboratory.  Briefly discuss

FOUR requirements necessary for constructing a preparatory room. (b)     Enumerate EIGHT materials that should be in a preparatory room. (c)      Explain THREE types of stores of a science laboratory.

  1. Occurrences of accidents in  the laboratory should be reduced   to bearest minimum:

(a)      Explain FOUR main causes of laboratory accidents

(b)     Enumerate  TEN preventive measures of laboratory accidents.

  1. (a)  Explain FIVE general first aid procedures you would undertake to rescue  a science.

    laboratory.
  (b) Discuss FIVE types of  simple servicing of equipment that are carried

out by a laboratory  technician.
