1. (a)  Discuss any FOUR ethical issues which are often encountered in the conduct of research studies.                                                   (8 marks)

(b)       (i)        Differentiate between population and sample                        (5 marks)

(ii)        Discuss any  FIVE situations where the entire population can be studied when carrying out a research.                       (5 marks)

 2. (a) (i) Discuss any  FOUR variables that are concerned with an experimental research                                                            (8 marks) (b) (i)        Explain SIX phases of observational method   (6 marks) (ii)       Enumerate FOUR problems of observation as a method of data

collection.                                                                   (4 marks)

 3. (a) Discuss any FOUR major phases of interview as a source for data collection.                                                                                           ( 8 marks) (b) If the sample mean of a set of 25 students’ scores was 59.85 with a population mean of 55. (i) Evaluate the t-test score of this mean when the standard deviation is 8.50.
