1.(a). As a newly posted government teacher in a school, discuss the factors that  you would consider in planning a comprehensive syllabus for your department. 8 marks

(b). Briefly describe with examples what is meant by instructional materials and state their importance in government teaching.  12 marks

(c).  With illustrations where applicable, discuss techniques in relation to the teaching of government in Nigerian secondary schools. 10 marks

 

2.(a). Explain any six methods of teaching government in secondary schools. (b). Discuss the advantages of behavioural objectives.

 

  1. Discuss five major variables usually considered in preparing effective teaching of government in secondary schools.

 

  1. (a) Discuss syllabus as an instrument of teaching and learning of government.

(b) Discuss five factors to be considered in planning a concise government    syllabus for

Nigerian secondary schools.
