2b. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of ad libitum feeding for broilers (15Marks)

 

  1. Discuss the effects of the following factors with regards to nutrient requirements of poultry

(a) Productive state of the bird

(b) Disease condition

(c) Balance of nutrients

(d) Presence of toxic factors

(e) Temperature        (25 Marks)

 

4a. Mention the systems of brooding and discuss fully the system with the most economic potential     ( 10Marks)

 

4b. Discuss fully the preparations necessary for the arrival of your day old chicks (15Marks)
