1 a) Briefly describe the major components of Montessori’s curriculum.

2 a) Explain the importance of the child’s role in Reggio Emilia’s model of early childhood
- b) List five signs that a child will manifest to indicate hearing impairment.
3 a) Enumerate four behaviours in children that can be classified as behaviour difficulties. b) With examples explain the meaning of the following terms:
- Impairment ii. Disability iii. Handicap
4 a) As a preschool teacher, describe in detail five socio-emotional behaviour expected of children at preschool stage of development.
- b) Describe specific behaviours that indicate cognitive development during the infancy stage.
