  1. (a)       Differentiate between

(i)        Testing and measurement

(b)       The act of teaching and learning cannot be completed without evaluation. As a classroom teacher, justify with EIGHT reasons the need for evaluation in Nigerian educational system.                                                                           (16 marks)

 

 

2. (a) Define test   (i) validity   (ii) reliability                                              (8 marks)
  (b) Describe FOUR factors that  usually influence reliability of a test.   (8 marks)
  (c) Compute the  (i) mean

(ii)  median and

(iii) standard deviation of the following set of scores:

  1. (a)  Nigerian WAEC and NECO examinations are being threatened with malpractices and  leakages.  Discuss FOUR steps that  can be taken  in the administration to give credibility to such examinations.                                                                    (8 marks)

(c)       Chinedu scored 74 in mathematics with a mean of 35 and standard deviation of
