NASU threatens UNILAG To Postpone Convocation

the Non Academic Staff Union,  University of Lagos Chapter has threatened that the institution postpone its 50th convocation ceremonies scheduled to commence on February 19.
It was gathered that the Union, alongside the members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) and the National Association of Academic Technologist (NAAT), have shut some administrative buildings in the University campus.
The striking workers extended their protest to UNIlAG Staff School, causing panic among pupils and parents.
The Chairman of NASU-UNILAG,  Mr Kehinde Ajibade, said the University authorities have been warned to postpone the convocation.
He noted that the striking workers might not supply social amenities needed during the convocation.
