National Open University of Nigeria release Number of Students Registered for the Semester 2017/1

The National Open University of Nigeria Recently released the number of students that registered for the 2017/1 (2017, first half) on their website.

This is the first time the school as release comprehensive list of number of registered students in each of their study centers across the country, I believe it is as a result if the recent update which is currently going on the school website after it was moved from nou.edu.ng to nouonline.net.

The V.C of the school, Prof. Abdalla Adamu (AKA UBA) has promised a better and a more reliable portal which will be managed by a Nigeria based company, According to him, on one of his speeches while addressing students of the school, he said that students should expect new futures to the new portal that where not on the old one.




On the list that was released, there are a total of 74068 students Registered for the Semester 2017/1, study centers like Lagos Study Centre, Abuja Model Study Centre, Awka Study Centre and Ilorin Study Centre are topping the list with over 2500 registered students, while centers like Nigerian Prisons Special Study Centre Enugu, Nigerian Medium Security Prisons Special Study Centre Kirikiri Lagos, Nigerian Female Prison Special Study Centre Kirikiri and Nigerian Maximum Security Prison Special Study Centre Kirikiri having the list number of registered students with less than 3 students.
